Scope and Objectives
The Kaizen Company is seeking a Director of Finance and Administration for an upcoming USAID-funded project focused on the Organizational Development of USAID/Uganda. The project seeks to support in building the existing “Mission of Leaders” activity and fortify USAID’s performance in implementing its 2017 to 2021 Country Development Cooperation Strategy (CDCS) in an adaptive, iterative manner.
The Finance and Administration Specialist will oversee operations for all activities in Uganda. This includes oversight of procurement, logistics, human resources, accounting and finance, and records. This individual, with support from the Contractor’s Home Office, will be responsible for managing the Contract budget and preparing financial reports for submission to USAID. He/she will ensure funds expended are compliant with USG regulations and policies. With the Contractor’s Home Office, he/she will implement fraud mitigation practices and ensure systems and processes are implemented effectively to support implementation of the award.
