Call for Resumes: Stabilization & Transition Experts/Advisors with West & Central Africa Experience

Kaizen is currently building a roster of experts and advisors to support future anticipated consulting work with USAID, including within the USAID Bureau for Conflict Prevention and Stabilization’s Office of Transition Initiatives (OTI). Kaizen is searching for consultants with expertise in one or more of the following technical areas in West and Central Africa:
- Citizen security
- Civil society engagement
- Communications
- Conflict prevention
- Conflict resolution
- Countering violent extremism
- Electoral assistance
- Governance
- Livelihoods
- Media
- Natural resources and climate security
- Peacebuilding
- Peace processes
- Polling/surveys
- Protection
- Reintegration
- Small enterprise stimulus
- Small-scale infrastructure
- Stabilization
- Transitional justice and/or reconciliation
- Violence prevention
- Women, peace, and security
- Youth, peace, and security
Future work for consultants on forthcoming projects may include studies, research, program design, program evaluation, and technical implementation.
Preferred qualifications:
- Advanced training and education in area of technical expertise
- Experience supporting stabilization and transition initiatives
- Field-based international experience
- Fluency in languages spoken in West and Central Africa
